AD Integration

NOTE: This module is available for Revelation on-premise users only, and visible only to Super Admins.

AD Integration is comprised of two separate elements.

• Legacy AD has been a part of Revelation since Version 3.2.

• • The Active Directory Integration module allows you to easily import (and re-import) your user information directly from your AD.

• AD Passthru was introduced with Server 2011.

• • AD Passthru provides the ability to tie your AD credentials to a Revelation account; it will automatically "pass through" your credentials.

  • If you already have user data stored, there is no need to re-enter it into Revelation.

 

These two elements are separate and distinct from each other. i.e. You do not need to use both, nor do you need to configure one in order to be able to use the other.
